Job Description

The Advisor Compensation Specialist is responsible for gathering compensation data, entry, balancing and processing for all advisor compensation lines of business to ensure accurate and timely payment to our advisors. In addition this position is the first line of service providing customer service to our advisors through various methods such as phone calls, emails, and online support requests.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Accurate and Timely Data Entry of Compensation Statement Data
• Gather and Tracking Compensation Data from Various Vendors
• Customer Service and Research
• Other Duties as Assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s degree preferred
Licenses/Certifications Required: Not Applicable
Minimum Specific Experience Required: 2 years insurance or broker dealer experience preferred 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Demonstrate high level of ownership by obtaining compensation information from vendors to ensure timely payment to our advisors
• High attention to detail and accurate keying skills to ensure correct payment to our advisors.
• Ability to analyze data to problem resolve if the payment and backup documentation do not balance.
• Basic mathematic ability to calculate compensation payment accuracy.
• Clear and concise communication skills required to explain compensation payment.
• Process maintenance requests such as split updates, EFT entry, fee collection, billing updates, and other compensation adjustment requests.
• Balance and process cycle duties for accurate and timely payment to our advisors.
• Positive and profession attitude in combination with high level of integrity and ethical standards. 
• Estimated % of time required to travel – 0%
