Job Description

Summary of Position:
The Document Services Department provides brokerage and direct operations support to our advisors. As a Document Services Team Member for 1st Global, you will be responsible for properly handling document submissions from our advisors, end clients and employees. Attention to detail, decision making and communication are key aspects that will enable accurate and efficient processing while providing excellent customer service to our advisors. Each person must be able to work in a fast paced environment that is driven by seasonal volume and daily processing deadlines.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
•Ensure ALL Document Services workflow Queues are reviewed and items processed according to the processing times frames set, including functions of fulfillment. Ensure mail is picked up from both the PO Box and the Building. Provide high quality processing cycle times with low NIGO’s.
•Be aware of any policy and/or procedure changes and participate in initiating change when applicable. Provide ideas for efficiencies.
•Respond to escalations in a timely fashion with resolution.
•Provide a team player environment by assisting other team members to ensure all daily work is completed.
•Participate in cross trainings, continuing education, etc.
•Assist with any projects, reports or issues at the request of the Sr. Advisor or Manager of the department.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education Required:
•College degree preferred

Licenses/Certifications Required:
•Series 7 and Series 63 Preferred

Minimum Specific Experience Required:
•1-3 years of experience in an operational capacity

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Work, Excel
•Detail Oriented
•Team Player/Contributor
•DocView or similar software
•Scanning images software experience a plus

Individual Contributor

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
•Sit – Constant
•Walk - Occasional
•Lift/Carry 0-20 pounds – Frequent

•Estimated % of time required to travel – 5%
