Job Description

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high level of activity and relationship management through proactive coaching calls at established intervals
    • Conduct business diagnostics to identify problem areas for improvement and provide coaching in these areas
    • Perform consultative business-building training to firms
    • Provide product and solution training to advisors to increase production
    • Lead firm annual business planning to establish production benchmarks, and monitor short- and long-term goals
    • Drive adoption and rigorous use of productivity tools available
    • Consult with advisors to organize and manage their practices and effectively adopt and utilize resources of 1st Global
    • Contribute to practice management improvement of firms through the creation of strategic plans, operating models and performance indicator dashboards
    • Consult with advisors to enhance growth, client engagement and client retention
    • Serve as liaison between firms and internal departments
    • Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education Required:

  • Bachelor degree in business administration, finance, marketing or similar field of study

Licenses/Certifications Required:

  • Series 7, 24 and 66; Texas Life; Accident Insurance License; CFP® or willingness to obtain within 2 years

Minimum Specific Experience Required:

  • 5 years’ experience in the financial services industry
  • 3 years’ experience of demonstrated success as formal leader or consultant, consulting or coaching with professional service providers (financial advisors or CPAs preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated track record of sales leadership
  • Strong initiative with a high degree of organizational, relationship and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including leadership
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize jobs independently
  • Work effectively independently and in a team environment
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Outlook
  • MBA or master’s degree a plus
