Job Description

Summary of Position:

The Returned Mail Analyst is responsible for properly handling returned mail that includes documents for our advisors, end clients and employees.  This will included setting up Service Request to communicate to our advisor the discrepancy with their client's address.  The Returned Mail Analyst will verify client addresses in multiple systems and process any address updates.  The individual will be responsible for pulling all return items and mailing them to the client once an address has been confirmed.  Attention to detail, decision making and communication are key aspects that will enable accurate and efficient processing while providing excellent customer services to our advisors.  The individual must be able to work in a fast paced environment that is driven by seasonal volume and daily processing deadlines.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Review Return mail reports daily and process a macro to remove duplicates
  • Verify addresses in varies systems
  • Process postal card updates weekly
  • Perform corrected address return mail outs weekly
  • Create service requests to communicate address discrepancies to the advisor
  • Be aware of any policy and/or procedure changes and participate in initiating change when applicable.  Provide ideas for efficiencies.
  • Respond to escalations in a timely fashion with resolution.
  • Provide a team player environment by assisting other team members to ensure all daily work is completed.
  • Participate in cross trainings, continuing education, etc.
  • Assist with any projects, reports or issues at the request of Manager of the department.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education Required:

  • College degree preferred

Licenses/Certifications Required:

  • Series 7 and Series 63 preferred

Minimum Specific Experience Required:

  • 1-3 Years of experience in an operational capacity

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize jobs independently
  • Team player/contributor
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
